We submitted Lickly for the Global AI Awards before its broader SaaS launch because we already knew what the technology could do.
Lickly, RAD Intel’s AI-driven Decision Intelligence platform for marketing, may be new as a standalone SaaS platform, but the intelligence behind it isn’t. This technology has been battle-tested with Fortune 1000 brands and major agencies, informing real marketing decisions, real campaigns and real budgets long before we packaged that capability into a product marketers could use directly. What we entered was technology that had already been put to work in the market.
Lickly went on to win in the AI Product or Service category at the Global AI Awards, and the timing couldn’t have been better. We already believed we had built something special. The win gave us even more momentum heading into September, when we will introduce Lickly to a much broader group of marketers at UNBOUND.
How Lickly Turns Decision Intelligence Into a SaaS Platform
For years, the intelligence behind Lickly has helped brands and agencies understand audiences, evaluate creators, shape content and make campaign decisions. What changed was how we packaged it.
We saw a way to take intelligence already being used inside sophisticated enterprise marketing environments and make it available in a SaaS platform built around the decisions marketers make every day.
Marketers have to decide where to invest, which audiences to prioritize, which creators fit those audiences and what content is most likely to resonate, all before committing budget. Marketing teams make those calls every day, often across several tools with a lot of manual analysis in between.
Lickly brings audience, creator, cultural, competitive and campaign intelligence together so marketers can make those decisions with more context before they spend, make adjustments while campaigns are running and better understand what drove the result afterward.
Marketing AI Has to Support Better Decisions
A lot of marketing AI is still focused on producing more. They’ll give you more copy, more creative, more content, and slightly more variations. And that all definitely has value. It’s also only one part of the job marketers need to do.
Before a team creates anything, someone still has to decide what is worth creating. What concept, theme or creative direction should be taken. And before any budget moves, someone should definitely decide where it should go. Before a creator gets selected, someone has to know who the brand is actually trying to reach.
That’s where we use Decision Intelligence. Lickly gives marketers more evidence behind those choices. The marketer still brings the experience, judgment and context. The platform helps them see more before they decide.
We felt confident entering Lickly before the SaaS launch because the intelligence powering it had already proven itself in the market over several years.
Next Stop: UNBOUND
In September, we’re bringing Lickly to HubSpot UNBOUND (formerly INBOUND) to launch the brand, and push the platform into GA directly in front of the market demanding something better. We’ll give marketers, agency owners and account leads the opportunity to test, play and build right on the showroom floor.
And I couldn’t be more excited for that part because this is where people get to see our magic — the power of our AI-driven platform — firsthand.
They’ll be able to see what happens when intelligence already used inside Fortune 1000 marketing environments becomes something a broader marketing team can put to work directly.
And, these Global AI Awards are a great milestone and win on the way there. For us, it confirmed what we already believed when we decided to submit.
Lickly may be new as a SaaS brand, but what powers it has been earning its stripes for years.
