Udeet Patel

Udeet Patel is a Machine Learning Engineer at RAD Intel, based in Toronto, with 3+ years on the team. He works across computer vision and NLP, training and deploying production models in TensorFlow and PyTorch, and translating complex, messy social data into insights that teams can actually use.

His work spans end-to-end model development and analysis, including deep learning approaches like CNNs for vision and transformer architectures such as BERT for language. He’s hands-on with campaign and performance data using tools like Pandas and NumPy, and he stays current by actively reading and implementing techniques from new research. Udeet collaborates closely with cross-functional teams in agile environments, bringing both technical rigor and practical execution to the platform.

Before joining RAD Intel full-time, he started as a Machine Learning Engineer intern. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Android Developer intern, contributing to a food delivery application and gaining foundational backend experience with NodeJS.

Udeet holds a postgraduate degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Loyalist College and a BTech in Information Technology from Dharmsinh Desai University.
