Aldrin Azucena
Frontend Developer
Aldrin Azucena is a Front End Developer at RAD Intel and Lickly, where he builds and improves the product's interface in React and modern JavaScript, turning the design team's Figma files into working components. He works across Product, Backend, and QA to ship features that hold up in production. He leaves nothing out of documentation, tickets, or pull requests, so the next person doesn't have to guess.
He holds a BSc in Computer Science with a minor in New Media from the University of Lethbridge. Before RAD Intel, he spent nearly four years as a full-stack developer at a small agency for clients across industries in Canada and the US, from local businesses to medium and large companies, including Canada Beef, the national marketing organization behind the Canadian Beef brand. For them, he built multiple information microsites that connected the industry's networks: national foodservice and restaurants, major grocery chains and retailers, and suppliers, processors, and distributors. Across other projects, he built AI-powered dashboards, CI/CD pipelines, cloud hosting, and legacy database migrations, and shipped accessible multilingual sites and a reusable component library the whole team built on.
Outside of work, he plays basketball and golf, hikes, paddleboards, and travels often. He was classically trained in music before moving into software, and he's getting back into it, composing for his own video game projects.
